HOWL: Hamster Operated Walking Locomotion
Overview
HOWL is a quadruped robot inspired by Howl's Moving Castle. HOWL will use a Jansen Linkage, a single actuator walking system, powered by hamster's wheel.
Motivation
This project is my way of letting hamsters explore the world while paying homage to the magic of Ghibli's movies. Bringing this robot to life reflects my fascination with diverse quadruped actuation methods, blending engineering with a sense of wonder. It’s a tribute to both robotics and the little adventurers powering it.
